Career Counselling

Our career counselling service helps students to plan and achieve their long-term career goals by recommending suitable educational and occupational pathways. We indulge them in exploring their key interests, strengths and potential career paths to determine relevant goals. This is followed by creating a tailored plan to achieve those goals and recommending universities, courses and work experiences in line with the student’s interests.

The relevant steps of our career counselling service include:

  • Self-assessment: Helping students explore their interests, values, skills, and personality traits to identify potential career paths that align with their strengths and passions through professional means, such as the RIASEC Test.
  • Career exploration: Providing students with information about different career options, industries, and job roles to help them make informed decisions about their future career path.
  • Goal setting: Assisting students in setting short-term and long-term career goals and creating a plan to achieve those goals, including identifying necessary qualifications, skills, experience and useful resources.
  • Resume and cover letter writing: Helping students create professional resumes and cover letters that effectively showcase their skills, experience and qualifications to potential universities and employers.
  • Interview preparation: Providing students with guidance on how to prepare for university admission interviews. This includes practicing mock interviews and developing effective communication skills for the students to present themselves confidently and effectively.

In a nutshell, we aim to empower students to make informed decisions about their future careers and develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed as a qualified professional.
